Drive oil leak in bilge

I have 496 with a bravo one. I have a oil leak in the bilge area. It is not the bottle, looks to be some where in the gimbal housing when looking from the inside. No oil on the outside. When looking down at the coupler I can see oil on it. Only happens when running wide open. and just started. What connects there and how much work to check.

Thanks.

Probably the input seal on the drive.
Only leaks when the drive get hot.
I have one leaking also.
Just another thing to fix this winter.

Im guessing if that is it then time to pull the drive and replace?

Find the gear oil bottle "Hose" on the inside of the boat and look to See if the plastic Quick Disconnect is broke off or not, By ever so gently pulling on the hose a little to see if it is hooked to something or not, But keep in mind it could be just cracked also and leaking too. Or it is time to pull the drive off to have a look.

I did fine that quick disconnect and it is right behind the engine and looking ok. No oil leaks there. Just leaking inside the assembley on the transom. I guess i'll be pulling the drive to check and see.

Thanks for the input.
