trs pressure plates vs bw c-72's

i have converted my old original mercruiser tranny's to bw c-72's. my original merc tranny's were the one piece type with the tranny/bell housing being one unit. i know have individual bell housing and these c-72's. will i need different pressure plates to accomodate the bw's?

hope this makes sense.

thanks,
john

my old pressure are at my shop down state at the moment and i just got thinking about this.

also is there any value to the original merc trans? they only have 350 hours on them. i was just told they more than likely wouldn't hold up to new power. they are complete with the electric shift mechanism. they worked perfectly with my 330's.

Do you mean drive plate? Connects the trans to the engine? Yes - they are differant.

But your old ones (if good) are like gold, they are scarce.
