Hi would like to know if there is any way change from the original set up of OMC Cobra outdrives to Mercurys? The mounting holes dont line up for mercs on my boat how should i go about this? Thanks for the help.

that depends on if they are cobras or king cobras if they are cobras they can be changed to alpha gen 2 very easy the motor doesnt even have to come out of the boat. there are kits made by http://www.sterndrive.cc/ that will convert they run $350 and then you just need the drive if its king cobra you can change to bravo but have to have the transom assy. bell housing and all the related componets
ive done the cobra to alpha swap very easy only thing that might not work is if your shifter isnt set up to be reversed you might have to replace with a new one

Ok spoke to donzi it had king cobras. i have 454's gen v with borg warner 1:1 72c model# 10-18-014. will this work with setup of bravo units and king cobra mounts? thanks
