Default Bravo one questions

I have a few bravo one questions!
1. I want give my lower a satin finish. Any tips on how best to do this? Would this help at all with drag?
2. My drive is an 89 can I add/retro fit the oil resevour to it? I'll be using a newer gimble if that matters.
3. What type of socket do I need to remove the top and back caps on the upper?
4.Can I have a new skeg welded on with out gutting the case?

1. Spray gun it silver and clear coat, will probably not help with drag.
2. Dont think you can "retro" a 89 since the drives with a oil res tank has oil passages thru out the upper unit. Will need to swap out the gimble and drive to use a gear oil res set-up.
3. My drive has 3/8 bolts for the top and back cover which you will need a 9/16 socket or wrench to remove the bolts.
4. Yes can weld a new skeg on the lower without gutting the case..as long as you know what your doing.

Hope that helps.

you can add a out drive oil resivior to your Bravo it is the same type that can be put on the early Alphas. You will need a 12 piont 3/8 socket (deep) to remove your top and back cap. P.M. me if you want more info on the drive resivior
