HP XR can handle

Have a XR drive on a ITS box. Power is / was 575 SCI. Now Roller Cam, 8:71 Blower and Dart heads. Boat is single engine and very light (4600 Lbs,). How much HP is the XR take? What stronger drive will fit on a merc ITS?

SCX will fit the ITS setup.. The 8.71 will be hard on the XR in the mid range.. Lots of torque available down low..

how much does a SCX typically cost? i guess i could get a decent price for my XR since it only has 60 hrs. on it
