have 270 drive on boat would like to have tilt and trim what are my options

Upgrade to the 270T parts, gonna be hard to find, only made from 1972 to 1974. Good luck.

volvo made a trim and tilt sys. It was a bolt on sys. but was a nightmare, they used this sys. until they purchased OMC in 1994, try watching e-bay or call some boat salvage yards, after 1994 the volvo's had the standard trim sys.

I have a complete Volvo 280T package from my 18 Donzi. The 280 is basically the same unit as the 270. Fresh water, drive and transom assembly, everything works fine. How about 2k for everything?

The 280 drive is much better in the cavitation plate area, less drag. The upper and mid sections are the same.
