Some Borg-Warners have a screen in the line that you remove to drain them. It's the line that connects down low on the starboard side. You disconnect the line from the fitting then remove the fitting from the trans case. The screen will be right inside there if yours has one.

I guess B-W figured that was all they needed. It's a very fine screen. Like I mentioned some don't even have the screen. Instead they just have a solid tube with a slot cut in it that faces down when installed. I have never known of anyone to have a filter on one. If you would like I would be glad to send you the page out of my manual that shows how to change the fluid and the 2 different setups, screen and tube. Just PM me an e-mail address.
