I use Amsoil. Great stuff, has the highest shear load of any gear lube out there, next to Turco. Buy it in the 5 gallon pale ($180.00), that give me plenty to do a few changes a year (10-20 hrs). Had some anylized after the last change, all look good, did not even need to be changed. It also holds it properties with up to 10% water in it, un like most lubes that would break down as soon as water is introduced. Good stuff on my fourth season running it in a set of B1's, all so far is good. My 2 cents...

I've always used and had great luck with the Mercury High Performance gear lube. I run it in both my Bravo and my Sportmaster on the little boat. Just did the gear lube in the bravo about 2 months ago after 15-20 hours and it was a green as it was when it went in.

Also, for anyone that uses the Merc lube, go to Walmart to buy. They carry the Quicksilver HP (same stuff) and it's only $9.95 a quart compared to $16.00 at the dealer. :drink:

Either works great. I've ran both RP and currently running Amsoil for the water protection. No failures in 300hrs of service.
