Installed new drive and all o-rings took boat out for about a hour today got home have a slight leak on starboard side at lowest bolt(stud and nut) do i need to re-torque these or is it something else

What kind of leak? Oil or water? and what stud? One of the 6 mounting studs?
If you have a water leak there, then one of the orings is not sealing properly.
There should not be any oil leaks..

I re-torqued the nuts on upper, gear oil leaked has stopped. I believe the leak was where the oil inters the lube reservior in the bell housing Got lucky

Keep an eye on it.. that should seal weather or not the nuts are torqued..
