ssm 5 weight with tranny?

Can anybody tell me the approx weight of a ssm 5 drive? or the weight difference between a bravo set up vs a ssm5 set up including tranny?

The transmission is approx. 105 lbs. and a #5 is approx. 210 lbs. I have both, if you want me to get more accurate weights, I can.

I forgot to ask did that weight of 215 include transom ass.?

bobsbillets 04-21-2010 06:54 PM

Nope. I would guess the transom ass. at another 150-200 pds.

I don't think that the complete #3 transom assm. with rams, weighs 150-200 lbs. I have a #5 transom assembly that I can weigh. The transmission and the transom assm. are the easiest to weigh, but the #5 is a pain to balance on the scale with one person.
If you are looking to buy all the above components, I have them all. Look in the classifieds.
