Ever seen 1 break like this?

Has anyone seen one break like this before? If so what was the cause? XR/ITS Thanks for any info.

One tooth snaps off, then it walks over the next two and pushes the opinion out the front.
Another case of XR upper gears snapping teeth off!! |
I've got one just like that:eek:
It's in my growing collection of junk XR parts. It made a hell of a racket when it happened .....didn't smell too good either. |
I have two cases with the front threads broken out.

Also, they never break WFO, always somewhere around 3000+ RPM. |
