If you guys watch the posts I'm in the middle of several project boats.I am pretty savay on just about everything but I know when I need help I can find out what I need at oso.Question????We have been working on a 202 chris craft stinger.Trying to break the 100mph barrier.Running 78 to 81 on gps depending on the day.We are pro charging now,after we figure out some cam's ect.We just installed a imco box neutral type.We are running a alpha and have had no problems.BUUUUUTTT Would a black hawk work on this boat(what are the requirements for useing one) example boat length hull cofiguration X dem. ect.Any help would help.Or should we go bravo with a imco lower -2 Thanks JOHN SR

The Blackhawk works pretty good on most small boat instalations but it does need to be set up properly. They need a prettyhigh X dimension, i was told the bullet should be 1.5 inches out of the water. They also work best on hulls that have a bunch of rocker.

Think of a BH as a 5 inch shortie. If the prop shaft centerline is 1 to 2 inches above the bottom of the boat, your height is right.
The hull need a natural bow lift running attitude as well. If you descide to go down that rode, I have a complete package listed in swap. |
