Drive Indicator Placement/Adjustment

May sound like a silly question, but just want to make sure. Was adjusting my drive indicators today, boat new to me. The actuators are mounted on the inside trim rams, and the starboard side doesnt really work properly because the moving part of the actuator doesnt hit solid. The port side hits on the round steel end where the ram attaches to the drive, the starboard kind of hits on the rubber end (other end) of the ram/drive connection, but only contacts a small portion and can ride off. Can I pull the bolt or whatever is there out (ram to drive connection) and flip it around so the actuator has a solid contact point. Not enough cable/ not rigged where I can move the actuator to the other side(it looks like).

Yes, it doesn't matter which ram the actuator is mounted on so long as the cup is on that side just flip it.

cant, not enough cable from the looks of things. I guess my question is can I switch the cup to the other side of the drive?

YES u can ..does not matter as long as it does not interfear with your cable both on the transom ( where it comes out ) .

Can move the cup, or can move the actuator? The actuators are mounted on the inside of both drives, cables come through a little bit each way of center without much slack or extra, it just doesnt look like enough to get to the other side of the drive. I will take it off tonight when I get home and try it.

Pretty sure that's what I said, to move the cup to the side the actuator is on.
