Alpha One Gen 2 Fluid Level
 

Just changed the impeller by dropping the lower only and refilled the gear lube from the bottom using the Merc. pump. It would only take 1 quart, shouldn't it take 2? The dipstick on top shows full but I'm a little confused. Help?

Should take a quart and 4-6 onces. Pull the side vent plug in the upper housing and fill unti lit starts coming out with the drive level. Then check the stick.

I got a couple pumps into the second quart and it came out of the vent hole, I just wanted to be sure there was enough fluid in there.
