Bravo trim pump adjustment

Has anyone adjust trim pump lift pressure? I have problem with new steel prop that trim doesn't have enough strenght to get up in high speeds. pressure is too low. There is no leaks. I have look it that there is three pressure valves in oil tank, bottom of the pump unit. I wonder the lonely one effect to down movement, but how rest two works? There is a steel tube and a brass tube. Can I adjust of those pressure valves and how?

Thanks for answers!

It's sommer in Finland

Sounds like you have a weak pump or bad ram. Just a guess

Pump can run either the cylinders are in the end, I mean through the end wall. so motor is not weak. Pistons seals doesn't leak because it will lift and stand up if I lift it lower RPM's. I think problem is in the pump

Do you know what kind of fluid is in there?

there is 15w-40 motor oil

You could try to switch to straight 30w, might help build a little more pressure. I would lean toward a bad pump though.

I think I will shim those valves, but I need to know why there is two valves witch connect to up movement line. Motor have enough power but pump pressure is worse. Does Bravos has different trim valve bodies?

If i where u , i would check if the pump is conected correct..there is one high press side and one for low !!

If your prop is pushing against your pump and it will not go up ,,switch the lines ..if that does not help u have a bad o- ring on the cylinder..those pumps push #6 drives at 150 + MPH with huge SS props..so it can't be the pump adjustment..there is none !!!!:party-smiley-004:
