Neo Gear oil?

Anyone use Neo? Sounds like it's the best of the best from those who know about it. Any experience?

Got it from George at All American drive service. He swears by it

I swear by it. I drained my drives this morning and couldn't believe how clean the oil came out. It looked brand new and I was asking myself why am I putting new Neo gear oil in, but I felt guilty because I have 75 hours on the oil. Yes, that's right 75 hours. John from the Bravo Shop claims the gear oil is good for well over 100 hours between changes. When I was running Mercruisers gear oil it was black after 25 hours. The stuff is the real deal. I run their P40 engine oil too.

It really is incredible stuff! I rebuilt both XR Sportmasters last winter, ran the first 17 hrs on Merc Hi Perf gear lube. When I went to change it, was very disappointed to find way more metal on the magnets than I am comfortable with. (I'm running 780hp each)
At this point, I decided to flush the drives and swap from side to side in order to run on the fresh side of the gear teeth. After flushing out any remaining trash, I filled with NEO 75/80, Ran it hard for 10 hrs and checked the magnets to find ZERO metal! Been running it for 25 hrs now with no signs of wear.

-Always been skeptical of big claims but in my experience, NEO Synthetic really performs under severe duty use.

Great stuff. Ran it in a couple boats now and no issues and as mentioned before - at oil change time it still looked great, and no metal on the magnets. An added pls is dealing with a guy like John - great customer service and always willing to help.

How many qts / gal does it take to fill a Bravo 1 and the reservoir? I could run a whole season with this and not have change until end of season. (50hrs not to extreme)

2.5 quarts i believe

I was "supervising" JMS this morning while he drained the oil... (Or is it, trying to stay out of the way) either way, I can attest the oil was amazingly clean. Hats off to the Bravo Shop and glad to see the claims of long life are true!
