borg warner trans making noise rebuild or replace?

1984 borg warner trans with trs drives.. one trans in reverse sounds like it has marbles in it. if i had to rebuild both of them . im i better off replacing them with for say bravo 1 or not

it only cost s 160.00 for the rebuild master kit. the bravos are going to cost alot more than that. the trannys are easy to rebuild yourself if you have some mechanical skills:evilb:
