When You Switch The Lines It Will Work Back Wards Down Is Up ,,Up Is Down ,,,You Would Have To Change The Two Solenoid Trigger Wires Too ,,,

When you trim up the blue wires should see power. When down the green wires should see power. The wires that need to see power should be the large ones at the pump. Then the selenoids trigger wires have to match.

Lets get this wiring and plumbing figured out first.

As for the fluid foaming I would check at the pump for fluid then work my way out. Make sure you have the correct fluid in there. Some pumps say to use ATF others motor oil. If the fluid gets low then it will do that. The other thing that I saw do that is bad rams. Take your rams off your drive but leave them on the transom assembly. Then see if you can rotate the end both clockwise and counter clockwise by hand. If it is really hard or you need to put a pry bar in there your rams need to be rebuilt or replaced.

Good luck and let us know what you find.

The hydraulic lines and wires were reversed as was suggested. The fluid was also replaced. This seems to have solved the problem as the trim up was able to snap a 2,000 lb strap. The actual sea test will have to wait till next season. The work was completed at the shop the same time as Winterization.

Thanks to all that supplied their input on this.
