Default Correct Procedure to fill a TRS Drive

What's the correct procedure to fill a TRS Drive? I know to fill from the bottom hole until it comes out of the top vent hole. But what if it is still low on the dip stick? Should you fill from the reservoir?
Thanks

Actually the top hole is at the same level as the full mark on your dipstick. If you have filled it to the top hole then go ahead and bring it up in the reservoir to full on the dipstick. Check a couple hours later after the drive and reservoir have evened out.
