ITS Hyd. steering routing ?'s
(( That shoud have been titled ITS Hyd. HOSE routing ?'s)):grinser010:
Anyways I'm in the midst of a total re-rig on my boat & I will be going from the existing marine machine helm to the inside "hose block" on the inner transom of the ITS unit.. I don't have any real specific questions just yet as its a couple days away form diving into.. I just wanted to say I'm no hydraulic expert, So I may be asking a few questions or asking for a pic or 2 if I don't get ahold of a manual before I start that part of the journey.. I know its not rocket science, but good wise experience can't be replaced... Thanks in advance, Scott |

So I believe I just figured a good bit of it out from some photos I found..
Anyways this drive was paired up with another just like it on a twin set up.. I will be running a single... If you look at the picture attached The 2 top rt hand side hoses were hooked to the other drive (best way for me to explain is like a "jumper") My question is would these 2 ports that went to the other drive just plug off in a single application ?? I figured out the 2 upper lt hand (open) ports are for the p.s. pump & I would take it the cooler routed between..(?). Also I'm curious If I could, or should run a filter ?? I already have a nice Marine machine filter & don't mind plumbing it in.. If so where does it need to plumb in at ?? Not sure If I mentioned but I am using a different helm than I used in the (4-ram) twin setup.. Using the existing helm from a 2 ram #5 setup.. |
