I had an Alpha with a low water p/u...I think it was a bob's nose cone, welded on. I, too, was hitting the low 60's with a 300/350...my friend had no cone and was hitting the same speeds with stock power....yes the hulls were different, but I think at 60, the nose cone on a stock length Alpha makes no difference....they do look cool, however..
