Bravo 3 Digital Trim Sender Wiring
 

Hello,
I have upgraded a 2002 Mercruiser (350 MAGs MPI SN: M327844/5) to Smartcraft SC1000 gauges. In the process, I have replaced the transom assembly with Merc PN:6-6315002TP which is configured with a digital trim sender. The problem is that my motor wiring does not have a plug that mates with the transom assy trim plug. However there is a single wire in the motor harness that is labeled "DIGITAL TRIM".
The new transom assembly has a trim plug with 3 wires labeled A, B & C. My guess is that they are voltage, ground and signal (pulses of some sort). Further my hope is properly powering the trim sender and connecting the trim sender signal to the DIGITAL TRIM engine harness lead will get the trim function at the SC1000 working.
This should be easy, but I am at a loss. Sure appreciate any advice you care to offer.

to be more specific, the trim sender wires/plug from the bravo three has three wires (Red - A, White - B & Blue - C), sure appreciate if anyone could provide the functions for each wire.

for the sake of providing further info for posterity, the following response was received from MerCruiser Customer Assitance:

Your technical question has been reviewed with a Smartcraft Product Support Specialist to assure appropriate response. The original engine wiring harness does not have the appropriate cabling to interpret the digital signal from the digital trim wire on the Smartcraft Transom. We do not offer a separate harness to allow for that. If your original transom assembly is equipped with trim limit and sender in good working condition, you may have them installed on your new transom assembly and use the analog gauge for trim.

The functions of the 3 wires on the trim sender are: power, ground and reference voltage.

Can I assume The red wire A is 5v and the blue wire C is ground?
