Drive Shower Installation
I went to install my Simrek drive showers this weekend and found that the bolt on the B1 that needs to be removed has a 10-12 point "star shaped" head on it. Any idea what these are called and where can I get a socket to fit it?

Should just be a standard 12 point socket if I'm not mistaken. (I have been more than once)

You also should remove the cap and install a new seal.Removing just two bolts can cause the cap seal to fail.

Thanks guys, I'm feeling a little stupid. I looked at the bolt and just thought it took a special socket. 3/8" 12 pt. socket fit perfect.:party-smiley-004:

I installed the showers this afternoon. But the directions don't say to replace the flat washer on the lift rams. Did any of you replace it and if so was it under the shower attachment or over it.
It seems to me the right was to do it is to leave the washer on and install the shower over the washer to protect the bushing. |

I talked to the guy at Simrek and he said it can be done either way but left the washer on and then the attachment for the shower. The decorative plastic caps won't screw back on but I'm not worried about those.
