where to get new lower for alpha one gen 1
 
can anyone give me any advice on buying a new lower gear housing (complete) for a alpha 1 gen 1. i need a new one thanks to a woman who ran into the back of my boat at a stop sign. bent skeg, propshaft, and prop. anyway im running a healthy smallblock around 450hp. i know alphas arent the top choice for hp but im easy on it out of the hole. was wondering about a aftermarket or should i stay with mercruiser? thanks for any help.

their are a few people running a SEI drive,they seem to hold up under stock power..with a 3 year warr with no ? asked replacement how can you beat that for around 1500.00..

complete sei is 1295, the lower only is 745
