Merc HP Gear Oil

Has there been a change in Mercury's Hi Performance Gear Oil in the last couple of years? I picked up a 2.5 gallon jug today and it has a different part number on the bottle. If there has been a change in formula are they compatible?

I don't think they changed anything. probably changed the part number and went up in price
