Bravo shifting question

Stbd drive shifts fine at idle and slow speeds. After running hard and trying to shift stbd drive into neutral, shifter will only go to neutral using a little force. Port shifts smoothly. Replaced cables over the winter (same problem before change). Any ideas?

Sounds like maybe your brass bump rings are worn.

Good idea but I have to swap the upper's back covers since I have imco steering.
