how do you tell right from left drive?
 

Hey guys, I just picked up an 89 272 sr1 with big blocks and bravo1s, it has zero effort throttles and shifters, one problem the shifters are backwards, meaning I have to pull them back to go ahead! Props are spinning in right now and I want to change that but are the shifter cables on wrong or drives being run in reverse cuz the props are on wrong?

Little more investigating and I got it figured out, props are on the wrong sides, found roataion is all the same shifter setup determines rotation, mine is set so drives turn out props are on to turn in.
