Parts are available through Gary Kolloski in Minn. Built to the same specs and by the same manf. that built them for Mercury.

To furthur Bob's Comment Gary Has the original prints and the rights from Mercury to build them. Gary is a stand up guy with a passion to help all those that still have the older drives etc.

I will also vouch for RMPRam (Gary Kollofski). He has the rights to all of the parts for the #3-#5 drives. Give him a call for whatever you need.

I have new upper, straight cut, splined , near net forged, gear sets available, in a 1.31:1 ratio, for the #3, #3A, #4 (polygoned) and #5 SSM drives. I also have new 1.125:1 LH and RH lower gears for the #3A and #5 drives. I have new propshafts for the #3A and #5 and can have them converted to fit the #4 drive (these are the 1.75" diameter propshafts).
I also had 50 sets of LH lower gears manufactured to fit the wet sump #6 drive.

+1 I bought a pair of #5 drives, extension boxes, transmissions and steering from Gary. everything was exactly as described, and crated with care, and I got an education in the process. While I don't hope to blow my existing gears up, Its good knowing where to go if it happens...

Purchased some #5 output shafts and they worked just fine. Purchased some #5 drives from Gary as well. You'll have no issues with Gary's parts/equipment.
