Ive heard some people useing the scotchbrite pad with wd40 on the speedmasters.

I spray water on the drive then spray the Eagle etching magwheel cleaner(acid) on it and start scrubing/sanding with the 3M scotchbrite veryfine pad, dont let it streak.Or just spray it on the scotchbrite pad then sand.its tuff on you hands after awhile

I"ve da sanded it up to 800 before

The Imco's I had came very smooth to start with,They were easier to polish than the Bmax's,they are very porous and I had to start with a da 36 grit and a belt sander to straighten and thin them.Heres some picks at 36grit and sanded.

The paint on my standard bravos is starting to peal. I was planning on having the lowers painted silver this winter. After reading this thread can I just strip the paint and polish them or are they different from the the speedmasters and nxt's. I'm in fresh water and I really like the silver look. Sorry for the hyjack.

That sharkhide is pretty pricey. I see Eastwood sells it for about $72 a quart shipped.
Anyone know who has the best price?
