How tough is an Alpha SS?
 

My Alpha SS has been behind a 454 Mag for 24 years and the internals still look great. I hit a rock at the lake and had to replace the prop shaft along with the bearings, carrier, etc. Had shop go through the drive while down and everything still looks great. Is this normal or has it just been pampered? It's been pushing an 87 Donzi Z25.
