Default XR Value

I have an XR outdrive with sportmaster lower on it. What are these things worth. It has low hours < 20 with imco steering cap and drive shower. Ratio is 1.35.

This is a coned lower with the low water pickup for high speed application. It came off a 260 velocity thoroughbred, replaced by a bmaxx after an engine upgrade.

5g if as represented. These old style uppers have an issue with the input shaft brg pre-load nut backing off and should be hard shimmed. The gears should be inspected by pulling the rear cover and there should be no play in the input shaft. Most might want the 1.5 gear ratio though.

Before a fair market value can be determined, it needs to be verified that it is an XR drive and has a Sportmaster lower and has the low hours claimed.

What is the serial number on the drive???? and why is there a board covering the front of the lower???

Its worth somewhere between $1500 and 5k depending on what can be verified.

Griff thanks for the post. This is just an inquiry not an advertisement for sale. That is why the picture is how it is just quick thank you slam bam pic. I am going to post some other pics today and you guys can give it a look over. This drive came with a boat purchase and only used to test the boat out so I cannot not verify the hours myself and only went with what the owner told me and what a mechanic thought when he looks at the boat for me before buying.
