Use the JR method, it is eash to drill, about 1/8" thick there. Also leaves the drive looking much better, and is very easy to access the pin.

All you need is a Blind Hole Puller set and you got everything you need to pull any Gimbal Bearing. That's all I've ever use. And I do a lot of them.
