Flywheel and couplers for B1 question
I built the hp500's in the spectre over the last month and am about to send the internals for balancing, I want to change the flywheels and couplers because the factory flywheels weigh 43lbs!! And the couplers are the weak rubber aluminum standard junk. I've looked at Teague and CP performance, and if their lightweight flywheels will work that's fine, but what should I do about couplers? The engines will make around 675 NA

We use the Mercury Steel Core P/N: 861523A20. They hold up well to 800HP+.

Is that coupler a short or long snout?
Thanks! Dick |

The heavy flywheels help the engines stay running in and out of gear at low rpm.

We run 36lb LSC Billet flywheels on all of our TCM engines. We use the Mercury steel coupler (extended external coupler). -Eric
