for what you pay for merc stuff,it should be covered.

far better than merc, I went to a konrad myself. the scx looks like a nice drive to. hell with merc.

Merc does suck!!!
New rebuilt drive with XR gears, one tooth broke off after 11 hours easy use. Merc would not cover. Rebuilt again with XZ gears because of issues with the single gear tooth breaking on the XR gears and the pinion gear went after 2.5 hours. Tested the pinion gear hardness and it was real soft so they had a quality problem with the heat treat operation. They did cover that set but I had to prove the gear was junk first. Problem is I had to pay for all the rest of the crap that was screwed up due to the gear breaking, new bearings, clutch shaft, bearings..., not cheap and all they would cover was the gear set.

Yeah, what is anew #6 trans, transom assembly and drive-45,000??
