got a friend that says he has a 1.32 to1 ratio in an alpha gen 2 could this be true or is the 1.48 the lowest gears available?

he could be rite,,they usually use that ratio if it has a big block in front of it,,common in the later 80's and early 90's.

There were no Gen II 454 Alpha packages. Gear ratio's for the Gen II Alpha are 2.40, 1.98, 1.84. 1.65 and 1.50 -No 1.32 offered for the Gen II

then is the only way to tell if its and alpha 2 is if it has the oil bottle inside or is it possible to put an alpha 2 on and alpha 1 gimble?
