TRS prop shaft
 

I have a twisted prop shaft that needs to obviously be replaced...how difficult is this feat, or is it not for the faint of heart?

not that hard it just depends on corrosion give it a good weeks worth of spray before attempting to force any bolts out

Not that difficult but the problem is you probably don't have the special tools needed and can't get them. To do it right you should check the gear backlash which may require re-shiming and you need to set the bearing preload. Probably would be best left to a reputable shop. Do you have manual TR-TRS #5? If not PM me an email address and I'll shoot ya one. It's a must have.

Yeah i'm thinking it would probably be better to let a shop do it....probably worth it just in time for them to get out and in....
