nose cone

kinda new to the high performance boat world. I have an 89 stingray 222 with a sbc and alpha gen 1. Anyone ever run a nose cone on one? I heard it hurts top end unless you run faster then 80. But my boat runs about 65mph with a 21p mercury laser II prop. But im looking for some facts.

Don't bother at that speed, the Alpha is a small drive.
