How to fix up and down play in the gimbel of a TRS?

I took my bellow off yesterday and I have
About 1/4" up and down play from the top
And bottom hinge points. Is it possible to adjust
It or do the hinge points have to be replaced?
I check the side ones and they feel fine.

Up and down play should only be .005"-.007". It's detrmined by the nut against the steering arm on the upper swivel shaft. In the diagram you need to loosen the steering arm cinch bolt and nut #18 & 19 and tighten nut #17. Clearance is measured between the top of the gimble ring and the gimble housing. Tightening nut #17 lifts the gimble ring.
