Alpha Gen III drive oil

Ive been running my boat for a year now. Had the drive oil serviced last septemeber. I noticed my resovoirs in the engine compartment have been slowing going low thru the year..Yesterday they are at the "Add" line and I think setting my alarm.
Is it normal for a drive to use oil a little thru out the year or am I leaking it out somewhere?

no they shouldn't use any I would pull the lower screw on the drive and see what the oil looks like if oil is getting out water is probably getting in
