one thing with that water pump test. you could be looking at garden hose pressure. not water pump pressure. i do that test while boat is in the water. you want a stream the diameter of the hose that goes out about 6 inches as it starts to fall to bilge. and check EVERYTHING in the pump area. i got my nova back from a friend i sold it to who knows what he is doing, and the rubber piece in the upper part of drive that copper water tube seats into was halfway down the copper tube! overheated and killed 2 engines. it was actually the reason i got the boat back at a price i couldn't say no to, so i can't complain too loud...
