If you look it up on the brunswick website, Model number 6315001TS comes up as an MERCRUISER SMARTCRAFT TRANSOM W/ENGINE BRAVO SMARTCRAFT

Boatswainslocker.com appears to have model number 6315001TS listed incorrect to me.;)

Try running your serial numbers through this link,

arent all smartcraft magnum? thought the smartcraft was usually tied to a 496. if you google 6315001TS several boats with 496 are listed with this part number.

Are you thinking a 496 "MAG engine" HO 425 HP B3X should/would automatically come with a mag transom assembly? If so, that would not be the case.

In the link below you will notice your serial number utilizes the bigger U-bolt & Nut like the mag T/A. item numbers 24 & 25,
http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show_...Steering+Lever

Also take notice of the ( ) between the (Magnum Transom) & (SmartCraft) SN# 0W465665 & Up indicating two transom designs.

Another thing you can do in the brunswick website link is open Product Line, go to MERCRUISER 1998+, scroll down to "BRAVO", Click on the first BRAVO you see just under blackhawk, there you'll find a list of T/A model numbers. You're model number & all the model numbers you posted can be found in there as well along with basic information about them.

I just confirmed the assy's I have are magnum style. The tell tale sign according to merc's service manual is to look at the gimbal ring where the Hydraulic rams attach. If they are ribbed it's standard. If it is solid then it's magnum. Mine are solid so I'm good to go. Thanks.
