I have to agree that my dealings with Ilmor so far have been fantastic. Mercury on the other hand are terrible.
We had a prop shaft break and a Maximus sink to the ocean floor within the first 20 hours on our Donzi with 525s. Mercury didn't want to know about us.

That's why I'm going to the expense and effort to send my motors back to Ilmor. I sealed the boxes and handed them over to the shippers yesterday.

Hope all is well! Did you get your motors back in and any updates on the X Power Drives? It's been awhile. I was looking into the X power drives on a local boat for sale.

I am interested also to hear any updates on this & Xpower outdrives.

What boat are you looking at that has those drives & what does the owner say about his experience?
it seems like Such a nice outdrive.

This 2003 Cig Top gun in HB, CA represented by Tres Martin. It's on his page and in the classifieds. I'm going to take a look at it tomorrow. Seems like a very well put together boat with Whippled 525's and X Power/Stainless Gimbal rings, etc.

According to Tres Martin, yes Bill is still offering the drives and supporting the product! I went and looked at the Cig today with the drives and they look amazing!
