They're way bigger than a Bravo.
You have to change the helmet
You should install a HD gimbal ring
You have to add a through hull water pick up
You have to add a larger drive oil reservoir
It takes a #6 prop
You should have the lower trued
You have to trim certain styles of shift cables
You'll need all new tools for working on it
With twins you'll have to shorten the tie bar
You should safety wire the shower bolt to a gear cap bolt

Reports on strength look promising
I'm at 50 hours or so and a quick look at the gears shows as new.

In some cases you may want an extension box to help dial the boat in perfect.

Also might need to adjust the drive height/X-dimension up or down.

May as well add a blower since it's stronger and takes more HP to turn.

Not switching drives, just bought quad ram steering complete set up.... The boat does not need #6 weight in the transom.... The drives themselves will be kept, just everything in front of them. I've got some work to do.

Do the -4 imco scx have a water pickup built into the case or you guys installing the external pickups for better water flow

And the drives all feed this one strainer that feeds both motors.

The -4 has a water PU but IMCO said it's only good for drive shower water.
I had water pressure problems with my initial through hull setups so I ditched them and tried getting water from the drives only. As I started throttling to get on plane water pressure would climb. As soon as the boat started to nose over the water pressure dropped to 0 PSI.
I kept playing with the through hulls. The problem ended up being the Hardin SS raw water pumps. All I can see is that the impeller cavity is a bit smaller than on the plastic housings.
