Does Anyone have the part No for the Heavey Dutey shift cable lower for Bravo 1 . THANKS

I read on here a while ago to to use the heavey duty shift cable ? i have know idea if there is one or not . I know you have built and rigged a lot of boats Tony so i am thinking if you aint heard of it there probly aint one..

there isnt one that i know, just use factory brand not a cheapy.

Paul,
Merc changed the end of the cable sticking out of the helmet. It is now a steel shaft instead of a coiled one. Prevents the bending of cable when you install the drive and miss the latch on the shift linkage.
I am not sure what the part number is, but I believe you can't get the old one. Just not positive on it.
Looking at the latest Merc PN I show this one: 865437A02, but I am not certain it is the new one.
Imco sells it under PN 05-8040.

I've always used 815476A6, but on the system that supercedes to your part # 865437A02 So I guess it's the only one available.

£94.82 + tax. ouch!
