We adjusted it based on a different measurement as found here...

http://www.mercstuff.com/trim_limit.htm

hopefully there is no difference in the measurements.

Anyone have any knowledge on this?

Interesting, looks like someone took the time to come up with a different measurement area is all. While the measurement of 6-1/2" might be right for some drive models it may or may not be right for other drive models I could only assume.

Using those instructions, I would question if they are referencing their adjustment height to an R/MR/ALPHA ONE/Alpha One Gen 2/Bravo drive, etc. etc. as they have different trim adjustment heights which is typically measured from front anchor point to rear anchor point centerlines.

The instructions didn't seem to clarify/reference what drive model they were setting up/adjusting.
