What fitting do I need for my remote oil bottle?

So my original Bravo Transom assembly has a brass nipple that the remote oil bottle connects to and I just got a newer transom assembly and it has a plastic fitting on it. The line from the remote oil bottle is not big enough to fit over the plastic fitting so I think I must be missing something? Or can I put the fitting from the old transom assembly on the new transom assembly?

You need part # 22-861163. Any Mercruiser dealer should have it. Retail on it is $7.90. Or I can sell you one cheaper if you cant get it locally- Jim

Also just be aware that it appears from the photo that you are also missing the needed O-rings. See item numbers 2 and 3,

Question: if you have an older assembly with the brass fitting, can it be replaced with the new plastic part? I would think the brass setup would be the way to go. Thx

No they are not interchangeable due to a machining change to the gimbal housing.
