Verify Bravo
Which Bravo One is this?
It says 1:36 ratio. But, to me it looks like only a 1" shaft, maybe I am wrong. With that nose cone, it's not a standard One. http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/...psca002b80.jpg |
Looks like it has had a nose cone added.

Ok, he is going to measure the shaft when he gets home.
He put a new Teague TCM Platinum XR good for 800hp on it and has the same prop hub. So it should be 1.25" shaft then. Correct? |
That's an old standard bravo with a poor nose cone job

One way to tell the ratio, spin the input shaft until the propshaft turns one turn. Mark the yoke and the propshaft and spin it.. If you spin it enough times to have the propshaft turn 10 times. The input shaft would turn 13.6 times if it is a 1.36.....
This looks like an "Assembled from spare parts" type of drive. Hope that helps. Dick |
Thanks guys. I was looking for some Bravo's to go through. He called back and it's a 1" shaft.
Shifter and top end are blown out of it, lower maybe good, but would have to see first hand on the weld job. |
