why B3's higher ratio than B1's?
 
I bought this 24 crownline with no drive and am trying to decide what to run on it. it was orig 350 mag B3. dunno ratio or prop size. I am thinking B1 19 or 21 inch. 350 carb motor pushing close to 350 hp. I know it'll never be a speed demon but...

Ayuh,.... Because the B-III is more efficient, 'n uses different lower gear case ratios,....
