Need very competent outdrive shop to swap all on back

Looking for a great marine shop to swap my imco sc upper and lower with imco scx upper and new sc lower including the thru hull trans assembly, helment, inner plate, basically the works. Need all new hd stuff and looking for someone close. I'm in NW Louisiana.
Dallas, Houston, New Orleans? Anyone have any suggestions? I want it done right. Thanks

Even keeping the sc lower? U think the scx upper robs some power? Doesn't it take about 10-15hp per mph? I would guess some hp on scx upper cause bigger gears.

No word on drive shops in my area?

Congrats on the purchase, how about Ron Sporl, not a "drive shop" but def capable and experienced I would think.

The SC will be a little lower in the water , SCX sticks out a little further , by not changing the lower to SCX you are just moving
the failure point further down the line .

Thx with a 3800lbs cat I'm afraid the scx lower will start to try and surface from what I've been told. That would surly make my boat handle extremely bad at top speed if not dangerous. I'm at 103gps now with 700hp going to 1250-1300hp. Not really wanting to go over 130 just need quick acceleration so not propping for top speed. Yes I know the lower will be weak link.
Looking for good drive service to swap.
