Is there a plate they sell to plug the hole in outdrive if I take the y pipe and silent choice off my boat and just run the thru hull

As with most things Mercruiser, get ready for sticker shock. I think it was $50 for a piece of metal.

Forget mercruiser. I bought this stainless unit from Dennis Moore for $30.

The POS OEM unit is stamped steel if I recall. $50!!!!??? Their pricing irritates me....
